College Life!

I can't believe how incredibly old this blog is.  It is refreshing to read about my troubles with school back in high school: they sound so meaningless and empty three years forward.  College struggles seem to knock high school problems out of the ring, yet seem so much more manageable.

I'm currently headed into my fifth and final semester at the community college I'm attending, and I'm just about to finish up my Associates in Liberal Arts degree.  I thought generalized, core courses would be the easy thing to do for my first degree, but it proved to be just as challenging as anything else I could think of doing.  So far, I've enjoyed the lectures and teachings of World Religion, Political Science, Logic, Drama, Sociology, Cultural and Physical Anthropology, Film and Literature, and the teachings of Yoga.  I've had some tough and unwanted classes, such as Botany, Hawaiian Studies, English Composition, and perhaps some other courses I care not to remember at the moment.

I have three courses left to go before I graduate in the Winter.  I believe I'm taking Korean (elective), Visual Art (elective), and Astronomy (requirement in the Natural Sciences).  I won't be walking, of course, nor do I want to wait until the Spring to walk.  I'll opt to walk when I graduate from UH or something, but that's all tentative.

Post-Associates, I plan to attend UH West O`ahu and apply for the Social Sciences program.  It seems to be the only interest I have, and considering my absolute love for Anthropology and Sociology and my great people skills, it would look to be the best option for my interests and strengths.

That's all for my experiences in Academia.

Until next time,

Senior Year Assignment: SENIOR PROJECT

Alright, so as most seniors with a 3.0 GPA or higher knows, we have some bullshit called SENIOR PROJECT.
Currently, I'm to be working on my essay.
So far, I have four pages, but I'm having writer's block.
Not to say that I don't have enough information, moreso my writing style isn't being presented IN it.
So you can imagine to utter disappointment in my work.
Knowing me, Ill end up going back and redoing the whole thing.

Ugh.

Graphics Safety Belt Crap.

Ugh... so yeah, I still haven't done this crap yet.
I still need ideas.
This is probably what I need to get done to gather up some fresh ideas:

-Take a picture of Kara in her car seat in the car
-Take a picture of some car.
-Get a good background... which I don't have.

Needing Ideas

Agh, so I'm struck with writer's block! My creative flow has been cut off! Noooo!
Bleh, so I already have my idea for Braitsch's essay... but I have about three other essays to write.
Listing necessary for organization purposes:

(In order of importance):
-"The Era Of Wonderful Nonsense" essay
Lina has no leads. I don't know how to write an essay about a quote.
-Scheme&Trope of a Quote essay *Rhea'sProject@Braitschs*
Shit, I don't know. A 20-line quote? Wtfux. Seriously... I don't know what kind of quote to do.
-NHS personal essay.
THAT MOFO IS DUE NEXT WEEK! Ughh, I don't know why I'm bothering with this! Oh wait, I do know. ._. Egh, I don't know what to write about my character. WHAT MAKES ME A LINACHAN!? Someone explain that shit to me, and I'll give you a freaking Susan B. Anthony coin. Ha!

Along with essays, I've got NO CLUE how I'm going to do my seatbelt poster. I don't want to bite off of Jan's previous entry (it's hanging off of Sue's wall), but I've got no original ideas. Gah, Google bring me good luck... and many good ideas!

An Introduction

I finally did it! - I have created the blog (prolonged creation, lol) all for school.
Gahaha, no longer will I rant about school on the main page! >:D

An introduction for those of you who don't know my academic stance:

I'm Lina-Therese (or will be when I hyphenate my damn name) or simply Shoku.
My life has been absorbed by school, so I enjoy a good rant about school projects every now and then.
Majority of the time I put due dates online because I normally go back and reread all of my blog entries (for comprehension and grammatical and composition advancement... or amusement).

Post with assignments will follow this little introduction.
Peace, bloggers.
